Packing lists and run sheets

Two printable views, built for paper rather than adapted to it. Both strip the screen chrome and print black on white.

The packing list#

Grouped by order. For each one: the reference, the customer, every line with its quantity and unit, and a box to tick.

Groups never split across a page break. A packer holding page two of an order that started on page one is how items get missed.

The run sheet#

Grouped by delivery area. For each stop: the customer, the address, the phone number and the order reference.

This is the view that gets folded into a pocket, so it is deliberately sparse — what a driver needs to find the door and hand over the right box, and nothing else.

Stops with no saved address still print, grouped last. Leaving them off the sheet would mean the driver simply never learns those deliveries exist.

What appears on them#

Everything outstanding — not just today's orders.

You can print a specific date when you want one.

What is not on them#

Order notes. A customer's "deliver after 6pm" appears on the order in the dashboard, not on the packing list — the packer is not the person who can act on it, and a sheet full of prose is a sheet that stops being scanned.

Prices and totals are also absent from the packing list. It is a picking document.

Printing from a phone#

Both views print from a phone browser. The layout is a normal print stylesheet, so the phone's own print dialog and any AirPrint or Mopria printer will work. Nothing needs installing.
