Frequently asked questions

The ones that come up on every first call. Anything longer lives in the documentation.

Getting started

Do my customers need to install anything?

No. They message your shop's WhatsApp number exactly as they do now. There is no app, no portal, no account and no password on the customer side — that is the entire premise.

Can I use my existing WhatsApp number?

Not your personal one. A number can be registered on the WhatsApp Business Platform or used in the WhatsApp app on a handset, not both — registering yours would take it off your phone. The practical answer is a new SIM, which is also better for the shop: the order line survives a change of staff or a lost phone.

Connecting your WhatsApp number
How long does setup take?

The software side is about fifteen minutes — bank details, QR and products. The number provisioning depends on Meta's display-name review, which is usually a day or two. Loading a large catalogue is something we do for you.

Quickstart
Why is there no signup form?

Because onboarding really does involve buying a SIM, registering a number under a Meta Business account and agreeing a price. A form would imply we automate all of that. It also means your catalogue gets loaded properly the first time, which is the biggest single factor in how well the bot understands your customers.

How it works

Which languages does it understand?

English, Tamil in Tamil script, Malay, and romanised mixtures of all three — which is what people actually type. Matching is against your own catalogue and the aliases you teach it, so your products' vocabulary matters more than the language itself.

Languages and regions
What if it misunderstands an order?

It asks rather than guesses. A line it cannot resolve becomes a Yes/No question with a suggestion. And nothing is committed until the customer taps Confirm, so a wrong draft costs one message to fix rather than an order to unwind.

Does the AI decide anything about money?

No. It classifies messages and it reads receipt images. Every price, quantity, total and date a customer sees came out of your database, and the six checks applied to a receipt are ordinary deterministic rules with no model involved.

How messages are understood
Can it accidentally sell stock I do not have?

Stock is reserved atomically at the moment a customer confirms. If a line has gone short since the draft was built, the whole confirm rolls back and the customer is told which lines are short and how much is left — so they reduce the quantity instead of starting over.

What happens if a customer just says “thanks”?

Nothing but a read receipt. Acknowledgements are recognised and answered with silence, because replying “the owner will get back to you” to “thanks” is noise. The rule is strict: every word must be an acknowledgement, so “ok 2kg” is still an order.

Money

Will it ever mark an order paid on its own?

Never. There is no confidence threshold that unlocks it and no setting that turns it off. The verification exists to make your decision fast and well-informed, not to make it for you.

Approving payments
How does receipt verification actually work?

The image is stored privately and read, then put through six checks in a fixed order: duplicate image, duplicate reference, currency, transfer date, amount, recipient account. The first failure wins, so the reason you see is the first thing that was actually wrong.

How receipts are verified
What about part-payments?

Record them as they arrive. The order settles — and the invoice issues — only when the running total reaches the full amount. A part-payment that leaves a balance issues nothing.

Do I get invoices?

Yes, on every plan. A numbered PDF is issued the moment you approve a payment and delivered to the customer over WhatsApp. An invoice after a payment is table stakes for a business, not an upsell.

Pricing and plans

Why are there no prices on the pricing page?

Because price is agreed per shop during onboarding, alongside the WhatsApp conversation cost estimate for your volume. Publishing a number we then adjust on every call would be less honest, not more.

Compare plans
What happens if I go over my monthly order limit?

Nothing stops. You get one warning at 80%, one alert at 100% and a daily nudge after that. No customer is ever refused because a shop reached its limit — the allowance is structurally soft.

Plans and limits
Does WhatsApp cost extra?

Yes, and it is billed by Meta rather than by us. They charge per 24-hour conversation and the rate varies by country and message type. We will estimate it for your volume rather than hiding it in a plan price.

Can I get one feature without changing plan?

Yes. Any capability can be switched on for a specific shop as an override — useful if you want broadcasts for one festival season without moving to Pro permanently.

Data and trust

Who can see my customers' data?

You, through a session tied to your WhatsApp number. Every record belongs to exactly one shop and every query is filtered by it, taken from your verified session rather than from anything in the address bar. Receipt images live in private storage and are only ever served through short-lived signed links scoped to your own folder.

Data handling
Can a customer opt out?

Yes — STOP silences everything, START reinstates. While opted out nothing is sent, not even an explanation. Their deliberate actions still alert you so an order they touched does not silently expire, but a tap is never treated as re-consent.

Is my WhatsApp number at risk of being banned?

Not from us. Everything runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform. Shops get banned for using unofficial clients, and for sending marketing through utility templates — which is exactly why your transactional templates are blocked from the broadcast picker in three separate places.

What if I want to leave?

The number is your SIM and your business. Your data is yours — ask and we will export orders, customers, invoices and catalogue in a usable format.

When things go wrong

A customer says they got no reply. What do I check?

The conversation view on that customer. A message WhatsApp refused is marked “not delivered” rather than hidden, so you can see what the bot tried to say. No outbound row at all usually means the message was an acknowledgement and was deliberately not answered.

Troubleshooting
My stock counts look wrong.

Stock moves at exactly two moments — down on confirm, up on cancel or expiry. Nothing else touches it, so the audit is short: that product's confirmed orders against its cancelled and expired ones.

My login link stopped working.

Each link works once and expires after fifteen minutes; a link preview can consume one. Send LOGIN again. There is a limit of three per hour.

Still have a question?

Email it. A sentence about how orders reach you today is a perfectly good first message, and we would rather answer it than have you guess.
